        Our Commitment to Privacy: Medical AI respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. We do not require account creation, we do not store your chat history on our servers, and we do not collect or sell your personal or patient data.

Welcome to Medical AI ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how our iOS application collects, uses, and safeguards your information. By using Medical AI, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information Collection and Use

We prioritize a privacy-first approach:

No Account Required: You can use Medical AI without creating an account or providing an email address (unless you choose to subscribe via third-party providers like Apple or Google).
Local Storage: All chat histories, preferences, and personal notes are stored locally on your device using Secure Storage and SharedPreferences. We do not have access to this data.
AI Processing: To provide clinical reference responses, your queries are transmitted securely to our underlying artificial intelligence provider (Google Gemini API). This data is processed in real-time and is not used to train public AI models, nor is it stored permanently on our servers.

3. Patient Health Information (PHI) and PII

Medical AI is designed as a clinical reference tool, not a medical record system.

Do Not Share PHI: We strictly instruct users not to input any Protected Health Information (PHI) or Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of patients into the application.
No HIPAA Compliance: Since we do not collect or store patient data, Medical AI is not designed nor certified as a HIPAA-compliant storage facility.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

If you choose to purchase a premium subscription, payments are processed directly and securely through Apple's App Store and our designated subscription management provider (Adapty). We do not collect, process, or store your credit card details or billing information.

5. Authentication (Optional)

If you choose to use "Sign in with Apple" or "Google Sign-In" to sync your subscription status across devices, we receive minimal profile information (such as your name and email) solely for authentication purposes. We do not use this information for marketing or share it with third parties.

6. Analytics and Crash Reporting

To improve the performance and reliability of our app, we may collect anonymous, aggregated data regarding app usage and crash reports. This data contains no personally identifiable information and cannot be linked back to you.

7. Data Security

We employ industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/TLS) to secure the transmission of your queries to our AI processing servers. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights (Data Deletion)

Because your chat data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete your entire chat history at any time by navigating to Settings > Delete All Chats within the app. Uninstalling the app will also permanently delete all locally stored data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any updates.
