Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Wayk ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Wayk mobile application (the "App"). By using Wayk you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

a. Information stored on your device

• Alarms, missions, labels, sound preferences, repeat days, and volume.
• Wake-up statistics, streaks, and completed-mission history.
• Onboarding answers (wake goal, sleep schedule).

This data is saved locally via SwiftData and UserDefaults. It is not uploaded to our servers.

b. Information processed transiently

• Camera frames for Photo / Pushup / Squat / Smile / Barcode missions — processed on-device using Apple Vision. Frames are never saved or transmitted.
• Motion data for Shake and Steps missions — read from CoreMotion on-device only.
• HealthKit sleep data (Smart Alarm only, with your permission) — read on-device, never transmitted.

c. Analytics and diagnostics

We use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Mixpanel to understand how the App is used and to fix crashes. These tools collect: anonymous device identifiers, app version, device model, iOS version, screen views, and crash traces. They do not collect your alarms, photos, or camera frames.

d. Purchase data

Subscription state is handled by Adapty and Apple. We receive a pseudonymous Adapty profile ID and entitlement status. We never see your payment details.

e. Push notifications

If you allow notifications, we receive a pseudonymous push token via Firebase Cloud Messaging so that alarms and reminders can be delivered.

2. How we use the information

• To run alarms, missions, and statistics on your device.
• To fix bugs, improve performance, and understand which features are used.
• To deliver and validate subscription entitlements.
• To deliver scheduled notifications you've opted into.

3. Data we do NOT collect

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not record audio.
• We do not store or upload camera frames or photos used for missions.
• We do not collect your contacts, location, or browsing history.

4. Third-party services

Wayk relies on the following providers, each with its own privacy policy:

• Apple (App Store, push notifications, HealthKit) — apple.com/legal/privacy
• Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Messaging) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• Mixpanel — mixpanel.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Adapty — adapty.io/privacy

5. Your choices

• Notifications, Camera, HealthKit, Motion: grant or revoke at any time via iOS Settings → Wayk.
• Analytics opt-out: email us at meric1357@icloud.com to disable analytics for your install.
• Delete your data: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete My Account wipes all local and remote pseudonymous records.

6. Children

Wayk is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has used the App, email meric1357@icloud.com and we will delete the associated records.

7. Security

Data in transit uses TLS. Local data lives in the App sandbox. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we follow industry best practices.

8. International users

Analytics providers may process data in the United States. By using the App you consent to this transfer.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the App. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
